California State Summer School for the Arts: Creative Writing Dept. Summer 2000 (Lead Instructor: Tracy Gourdine).

Youth Speaks Workshops 2003-2007. (Lead Facilitators: Marc Bamuthi Josephs, and James Kass).

Current Projects

Lead Role, Bullrusher. A full length play by Aissa Davis. Directed by Ellen Sebastion-Chang and Margo Hall. Produced by the Shotgun Players. Premiers September 21, 2007.

Brave New Voices On Tour. Contracted spoken word shows at universities, conferences, and other institutions across the country. Begins fall 2007.

Arts Education

Poet Mentor, Youth Speaks. 2005-present. Develop spoken word/poetry workshop curriculum based on libratory pedagogy. Instruct 10 week residency programs in Bay Area high schools, and free after school workshops to youth 13-19yrs old.
